Sr. Python Consultant

Requirement

Fouzia Enterprises is hiring a Sr. Python Consultant to develop backend systems, APIs and automation solutions. In this role, you will work on client projects across industries.

• Experience: 4–5 years in Python development
• Work mode: Hybrid, so you will split your time between our Hyderabad office and remote working
• Engagement: Initially contract to hire; after that, conversion to a full-time role is based on performance and project needs
• Joining: In addition, immediate joiners or candidates with up to 30 days’ notice are preferred

Python Consultant – Job Description

• Design and develop scalable backend applications and services in Python
• Build and maintain REST APIs, for example using Django, Flask or FastAPI
• Also develop automation scripts, data pipelines and third-party integrations
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases, writing efficient queries and data models
• Additionally, write unit and integration tests and take part in code reviews
• Optimise application performance and reliability, as well as security
• Moreover, support deployment through CI/CD and containerised environments
• Finally, collaborate with front-end, QA and client teams to deliver solutions on time

Core Skills Expected

Must have:

• Strong hands-on experience in Python 3
• At least one framework, for example Django, Flask or FastAPI
• REST API design and development
• SQL databases such as PostgreSQL / MySQL, along with an ORM like Django ORM or SQLAlchemy
• Git as well as testing with PyTest / unittest
• Also, a good understanding of OOP, data structures and clean coding practices

Good to have:

• Pandas, NumPy and data processing
• In addition, exposure to AI / ML libraries or LLM-based automation
• Docker, CI/CD and cloud platforms such as AWS / Azure
• Async programming, especially with Celery, Redis and message queues
• Furthermore, MongoDB or other NoSQL databases

• Regular attendance on office days and responsiveness during agreed hours when working remotely
• Responsibility for the quality of your own code, from development through testing
• Early and honest communication about progress, challenges and estimates
• Full confidentiality of client code and data, as well as business information

• Clear documentation so that the team can maintain your code easily
• Finally, a team-first attitude, because good results come from collaboration

Communication Expected

• Good spoken and written English for team discussions and client interactions
• The ability to explain technical solutions clearly, especially to business audiences
• Regular, honest progress updates, together with early notice of blockers
• Clear technical documentation and code comments, as well as API documentation
• Constructive participation in code reviews, for example giving and receiving feedback
